Artist Rudolf Bonnet

Paintings of the famous Le Mayeur, Antonio Blanco, Rudolf Bonnet and others, who lived and worked in Bali for many years, were sold at the Indonesia Fine Art Auction on 23 March 2003 held by Larasati-Glerum in Jakarta between US$ 11.000 up to US$ 25.000 each. Bonnet knew Soekarno, who used to visit him in his studio and had a close contact with him, dating back from an exhibition in Jakarta in 1951, when the President ordered Bonnets paintings to his palace.
